Scott Erb ~ Professor of Political Science, (Ph.D. University of Minnesota) international relations, comparative politics, international law, foreign policy, and European politics with a specialty in Germany.  Active in the International Program, the Atlantic Council, and research projects with students.  Scott advises the Global Society and the Political Science Club, and has served on the UMF Honors Council

James Melcher ~ Associate Professor of Political Science, (Ph.D. University of Minnesota). Jim teaches American politics and American political thought.  His interests include political parties, the American presidency, elections, state politics and the politics of New England and the Midwestern United States.  He is advisor to the UMF College Democrats and Pre-Law students, co-advisor to the Political Science Club, and serves as the UMF contact for the University of Maine Systems Public Policy Scholarship.
